This is not the first time this has happened to us....poor customer service and just plain laziness. Our mail deliverer is amazing though :)
Edit: for the third time the package I was expecting was marked as delivered to front porch in the afternoon. 10pm still no package. This seems to be an ongoing problem. Where is my mail, people that I pay for a service?
In the last few months this practice of leaving notification of packages has stopped. They still aren't delivering so we have to make sure we track everything. When it gets to the post office we go to pick up when we can leave early. However there is one lady who won't make sure we have gotten everything that is ours...won't even double check. Once she hands us one box, she tells us there's nothing more....today my husband went, received one box, was told there was nothing else. He asked her to check again, she did and came back with another box and said there was nothing else. He told her to check again because we knew something else came...she went back and came back with another box. We are still missing a package that he didn't realize was there
We recently moved to Vass & due to a weird address issue that makes our mailing address show up as Carthage even though we live in the heart of the little town of Vass, I've visited the post office a few times as has my husband. They are always very friendly and helpful & remember who we are and have even held some mail for us instead of sending it back due to this weird issue. I think their customer service is top notch!
The customer service from the post master is not like it use to be. Packages have gone to other p.o. boxes
This post office gets one star because I can't give it less. This is the typical place that practices "life moves slower here in the south, beau...we'll get to it when we get to it". Maybe it's not the post office itself, but the mail carrier comes at all hours of the day. Yesterday, 6 a.m. Today, 9:30 p.m. Some people have to have letters post marked by a certain date. Get it together.
The staff is friendly and helpful. However It can be really slow
The post office generally doesn't deliver our packages because of where we live. We haven't had an issue with this in the past because they would leave a slip notifying us of a package to pick up.
